Since 1995 “La Cuina de l’Empordanet” has been promoting the quality of gastronomy in the region to make the Empordà a prime destination for top quality food. The 20 restaurants that constitute this collective primarily use local products, from sea or land. Their chefs treat these products with utmost care. Line or rock fish, seafood, vegetables, fowl or game… all make up the base of their dishes. Their quiet and welcoming restaurants with a family atmosphere and personal attention have top waiters that can advise their guests on the best combinations of their
dishes with fitting wines and caves. Their wine lists include many top wines and caves from all over the world, with special attention to Catalan DOs and, of course, the DO Empordà.
