FIGUERES

Figueres is located in the north-eastern Catalonia. With a population of 45.000 inhabitants, is the largest city near the border with France, and organized a major communications node which make the entrance and stopping point for travelers and tourists who enter and leave the Spanish State. Located in the center of an extensive fluvial plain, Figueres is the capital of the Alt Empordà, económicocomercial and cultural center.
